We ourselves renovated this stone cognac cellar for 3 years, in order to create an unusual and eco-friendly house, designed like a riad, surrounded on all sides by plants, trees and the lush greenery of the riverside.
Our intimate and colorful domain offers a rare service of indoor stone swimming pool, with salt water, with a spa option, counter-current swimming and sauna.
Our guests have a private entrance, a large entrance, a private living room, a terrace and a private patio. In the guest lounge there is a microwave, a courtesy tray, a refrigerator and crockery.
The exteriors are equipped with garden furniture, deck chairs, parasols.
The house is designed to disconnect and relax.
The roomsspacious (between 25 and 45 square meters), benefit from excellent thermal and sound insulation and offer refined decoration, with a pronounced taste for antique objects and furniture. A ""museum"" spirit reigns here, with modern comfort.
We offer table d'hôte by reservation (click on the discover tab). We produce our own vegetables, and we cook seasonal and locally sourced products.
Parking is available. Shops and restaurants as well as heritage sites are accessible on foot, such as the keep, the 12th century pilgrims' hospital listed by Unesco, the banks of the Seugne, a remarkable biotope, the medieval streets , the workers' church of Saint Vivien.
We will not fail to tell you the history of Pons and guide you on your visits, over a glass of pineau.
Easy access to the A10 motorway, exit 36, near Cognac, Saintes, Jonzac, Royan, the banks of the Gironde estuary, Mortagne, Talmont, Meschers, 90 km from Bordeaux and La Rochelle.
The castle of enigmas is accessible on foot from the house, are you ready for an escape game?
15 minutes from the Antilles of Jonzac and the thermal baths.
